2008 test · Question 100 of 100
Name two national U.S. holidays.
Answers from the USCIS list
Give 2 of these answers.
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Presidents’ Day
- Memorial Day
- Juneteenth
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Columbus Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
Our explanation
National holidays, also called federal holidays, are set by laws that Congress passes and the President signs. USCIS lists 11. You must name two. Easy ones are Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving, and Christmas (December 25).
Remember it
Think of the calendar: New Year’s Day is the first holiday, and Christmas is the last.
